Cancellation Policy

Booking & Payment Policy • A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your event date.Your event date is not reserved until the retainer and signed agreement are received. Remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date, unless otherwise stated in your contract.Payments can be made via approved electronic payment methods. Late payments may result in delays, reduced services, or cancellation. Cancellation & Refund Policy • All retainers are non-refundable under any circumstance, as they cover planning time, design work, and date reservation.If the client cancels within 14 days of the event, the full balance remains due. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued within 7–10 business days. Rescheduling Policy • One (1) complimentary reschedule may be granted if requested at least 60 days before the event, subject to availability. Reschedules requested within 59 days or less will require an additional fee. If Elegant Expressions is unavailable on the new date, the cancellation policy applies. Design & Customization Policy • All designs are custom-created based on client preferences, event vision, and approved proposals. Minor revisions are included; major changes after approval will incur additional fees. Once designs are approved, changes are not guaranteed due to production timelines. Setup, Breakdown & Venue Access • Setup and breakdown times are coordinated based on venue access. Client is responsible for securing venue access, loading zones, and permissions. Elegant Expressions is not responsible for delays caused by limited access, venue restrictions, or late client arrival. Damage, Loss & Liability • Client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of decor, rentals, or equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties during the event. Replacement or repair costs will be billed accordingly. Elegant Expressions is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages. Unforeseen Events Elegant Expressions is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: Severe weather, Natural disasters, Power outages, and Venue closures Photography & Marketing Elegant Expressions reserves the right to photograph and video completed events for marketing, website, and social media use. Client personal information is never disclosed. By booking with Elegant Expressions Event Planning, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, agreed to all policies and terms.
